About the role
Advantage Health Africa is seeking a reliable and responsible Dispatch Rider to support the timely and safe delivery of packages, documents, and orders to customers and designated locations.
Job Description
- Deliver packages, documents, and orders promptly and safely to customers and designated locations.
- Pick up orders from the company and ensure accurate and timely delivery to the required destination.
- Confirm customer details and delivery information before completing each delivery.
- Handle delivered items with care and ensure they reach customers in good condition.
- Maintain accurate records of completed deliveries, payments, and returned items.
- Communicate effectively with the logistics and operations team regarding delivery status, delays, or challenges.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and optimize travel time to ensure efficient deliveries.
- Collect payments where required and ensure all cash collected is properly accounted for.
- Maintain the assigned motorcycle in good working condition and promptly report any mechanical issues.
- Comply with all road safety regulations and company policies while on duty.
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE
- Valid motorcycle riding licence.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Dispatch Rider, Delivery Rider, or in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of Lagos roads and major locations.
- Ability to use Google Maps and other navigation applications effectively.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
- Must be punctual, reliable, responsible, and physically fit.
- Ability to handle packages carefully and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Must have a strong knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Must be willing to work on-site and meet daily delivery targets.
